I am a photographer based in Hyde Park, Leeds.  I have been interested in photography for over 10 years and have taken part in several local Art Trails in Headingley,  Kirkstall and Horsforth during that time.

I have had solo exhibitions at Heart in Headingley and the Leeds Central Library in 2013. 

In 2019 three of my photographs were selected to be part of an exhibition at the Bowery in Headingley  entitled "Urban Loneliness".

I won the Guardian Travel monthly online photography competition in July 2016 with a street photograph from Sicily. 

​

I have recently been concentrating on taking photographs in my neighbourhood which is a vibrant area with lots of students, graffiti and street art.   In 2019 I was involved in a portrait project at Rainbow Junktion, a "pay as you feel" cafe which is mostly run by volunteers.   During Lockdown in 2020 I started another project photographing people on Woodhouse Moor, Hyde Park.  This is ongoing.

Finally I have another longstanding street photography project which involves taking photos of the gardens of Hyde Park, which are a weird and wonderful  collection.   I come across some interesting sights as I wander around my neighbourhood.  

​

I also enjoy travelling and always take my camera so that I can capture the local sights and the landscape.  Some of the photographs featured were taken in Sicily, Rome and New Zealand.
